I remember Adge though I was only a child at the time, my father was a local musician in Devon and also an entertainments manager in the south west. Adge would on occassions stay at our house after a late gig, rather than drive back that night. I do remember them playing regularly at Sandy Bay in thier hyp, these are fond memories of those days. kindest regard,
Trudy

[ center] ;D I remember Adge at Yate carnival back in the early - mid 60s They performed on a trailer, and I sat on the side of the trailer in awe! Must have left an impression, because now I am playing on trailers meself! May his music and his memory live forever,

In the early 70's, Adge opened and performed at the Summer Carnival in Wotton-under-Edge. I was working in an ice cream van and during the event Adge bought a '99' from me. It is to my eternal shame that I charged him and did not give him a free one. Sorry Adge, hope you forgive me on this day, the 35th anniversary of your untimely death. 5th May 1974 - a day I always mark in my diary.
