When i was young my dad used to play a Wurzels tape to me, this has been recently lost. However one the songs on it was my favouriate and stuck in my mind, the only problem is that i can only remember the chours and a little about the song.
Please could you help me by telling me the tittle of the song if you could.
I remeber part of the chours as going "green and yellow, green and yellow, oh mother be quick i wanna be sick and lay me down to die".
I remember it being about a young boy who had been into the woods and had been eating things and his mother was asking him what he had been up to in the woods that day.
I would be very gratefull if you could help me as i would love to find a copy of this song for my dad for chirstmas.
many thanks,
claire

This is definitely not an Adge Cutler song, nor a Wurzels song - it is a Brownies song! Yes - the Brownies, as in young Girl Guides! I only know this because I did a Google search (honest!) Have a look at Icky Songs tartarus.org/~louise/brownieresources/songs/icky.htmlThird song down - 'Green and Yellow' (after 'If you see a Hearse go by' and 'My Pack Leader Jumped from 40,000 feet') Nice little songs, all of them
