Hi folks!
After a relative quiet of last weekend (recording sessions notwithstanding), this weekend sees The Mangledwurzels rather more busy with three gigs booked.
First up is the Radstock Hotel on Friday 28th November. Although the venue is a large rambling building, once the band is set-up, good audience space in the main room is at a premium, so best get there a little earlier if you want a good seat. Plenty of parking at the back, and free entry. The Mangledwurzels should be on stage at 9pm.

Saturday (29th) sees The Mangledwurzels putting on their best wellies and shuttling across the border into the poshness that is Cotswoldshire (technically South Gloucestershire) to play at the Village Club in Badminton. The Mangledwurzels will serve up two sets of Scrumpy & Western music, raising a racket in this normally sedate setting [Enough with the badminton jokes!] This is a brand new venue for The Mangledwurzels, but hopefully the band's Wiltshire fans will be brave enough to cross the border from Sherston and Calne. Tickets costs £3.00 for non-members; club members get in for free.
address: Badminton Village Club, High Street, Badminton, Gloucestershire GL9 1DD (01454 218234)
And on Sunday (30th) The Mangledwurzels are outside, braving the elements and dusting down their Christmas songs at the Frome Xmas Fair in a marquee in the car park of Frome Library (not far from the Cheese & Grain). The band has been told to arrive by 11am, and will be playing two sets through the day - it will be probably between noon/1pm and 3/4pm-ish. But the band will only find out when they get there!
The long term weather forcast suggests that it won't rain! (hurrah!), but it won't warm either - so wrap up nice and warm (the band will be!). This is a free event, so no reason not to come along and join in.
address: Frome Library, Justice Lane, Frome, Somerset BA11 1BE
mangledtrivia - The sound engineer at the Frome Xmas Fair will be Will Angeloro of Handsome Llama studios in Frome, who is currently recording and producing The Mangledwurzels second album.
See you there!
